The Next Generation Civic

With the widest array of engine choices available in its class, the all-new 2012 Civic is designed to meet any driver’s needs with all the value, reliability, sporty performance and efficiency you've come to expect from this iconic car.

Every new 2012 Civic gets higher gas mileage than its predecessors, including the Civic Hybrid and all-new Civic HF. Both will offer more than 40 MPGs on the highway.

The Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe are both close behind, delivering up to 39 highway miles per gallon. Civic GX Natural Gas is estimated to earn 7 percent higher MPG than the current GX, while the two sportier Si versions, powered by a 2.4L engine, deliver up to 200 horsepower with 170 lb-ft of torque, while still getting up to 31 mpg highway.

To each his own….No matter which Civic model best meets your need, Harold Zeigler Honda is sure to have it available.

  • Civic Sedan and Coupe

The Civic retains its 140-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine for 2012. With the five-speed automatic, both the sedan and coupe offer 39 MPG on the highway, a 3-MPG increase from the 2011 model. All Civics will include numerous safety features including Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, that improves vehicle-to-vehicle crash compatibility and collision energy management and Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control that enhances handling stability especially in poor traction conditions (rain, snow, ice), to help you maintain control of your vehicle.

  • Civic Si

A new six-speed manual transmission and a new engine have been installed on the 2012 Civic Si sedan and coupe. Its 2.4-liter 200 horsepower engine produces more torque while improving fuel economy up to 31 MPG on the highway. A more aggressive lower grille and aggressive sculpting on the side panels set the new SI apart from previous generations.

  • Civic HF

The HF is back for 2012. This means 41 mpg on the highway with a five-speed automatic transmission and 140-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Most Civics, including the HF, come equipped with Honda ECO Assist Technology, which allows the driver to select different drive modes that improve fuel economy.

  • Civic Hybrid

Big changes have been made to the Civic Hybrid for 2012. The hybrid gets up to 45 mpg with its lithium-ion battery and a larger 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine than its predecessor. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) provides smooth and seamless acceleration while also delivering superior fuel economy. The Civic Hybrid is distinguished from other 2012 Civics by turn signals integrated into the side mirrors and blue trim on the front grille.

  • Civic GX Natural Gas

The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Civic GX continues to be the only dedicated CNG passenger car assembled in America. For the first time, Honda will offer the GX nationwide. New for 2012, the GX sees a 7-percent improvement in fuel economy and operates with close to zero emissions.
